By car
Thanks to the toll bridge connecting it to the continent (3 km long), the Île de Ré is easily accessible by car from La Rochelle.

The bridge is free for cyclists and pedestrians.

From Nantes: 1 hour 45 minutes

By train
La Rochelle boasts the nearest train stations and offers daily links with Nantes (2 hours 41 minutes), Bordeaux (2 hours 16 minutes), and Paris-Montparnasse via the high-speed TGV Atlantique (2 hours 33 minutes).

NOUVELLE AQUITAINE buses await you the moment you get off the train right in front of La Rochelle Station, taking you directly to the Île de Ré. It serves all the villages on the Île de Ré throughout the year. 

Numerous taxis are available to come and get you from the station.

By boat
Ferries run by the maritime boat company Inter Îles depart from La Rochelle (1-hour crossing) and La Tranche-sur-Mer (45-minute crossing). 

By plane
La Rochelle-Île de Ré Airport is 20 km from the hotel.

There are direct flights from Paris, Ajaccio, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, 
Brussels, Dublin, London, Porto, Oslo, plus other British and Irish cities.
